This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp line by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. The Supercomp system also features standard full-floating rotors, which enhance self-centering within the caliper for improved performance and reduced drag. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the 1-piece caliper design offers exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The aluminum pistons within the calipers provide superior heat resistance, ensuring reliable operation even under demanding conditions. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. For rotor options, customers can choose between cross-drilled or slotted designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles that see more track use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal street and occasional track performance. These pads significantly reduce brake dust and noise while minimizing rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.
