This sophisticated kit builds upon the proven performance of Ksport's Procomp series, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. Key features include one-piece forged caliper construction for uniform strength and thickness, CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to facilitate direct bolt-on installation to OEM locations, and floating two-piece rotor design. The floating outer rotor section allows for slight adjustments, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and ensuring more even pad application for enhanced performance. The kit includes NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use, with a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. Operating temperatures range from 194°F to 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers due to their cooler running characteristics.
