This kit builds upon the benefits of the Procomp series by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, alongside increased piston sizes and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. They also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials. This kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. Additionally, DOT compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure. Ksport offers customization for both the rotors and caliper finishes. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, or slotted rotors, preferred for track use as they efficiently expel gas and debris.
