This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are manufactured from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum in a one-piece construction, ensuring lightweight strength and freedom from corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat resistance and consistent operation. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and ensuring more even pad application for enhanced performance. The kit comes standard with NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, preventing expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can select between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles.
