It builds upon the features of Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors to enhance self-centering capabilities. The calipers themselves are forged from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant construction. They utilize aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance, contributing to consistent performance under demanding conditions. This Supercomp kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer rotor section can shift slightly for better self-centering within the caliper. This design reduces brake drag and improves braking performance through more even pad application. Ksport offers customization options for caliper finishes, including standard colors like orange, red, black, and yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color options. The kit includes NAOC Ceramic SC5 street pads, which provide optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, while reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling and slotted rotors for track use.
