Overview

It features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads than the Procomp kit, with increased pistons and standard full-floating rotors for better self-centering. All calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and include aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance.

This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit's capabilities with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, plus an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are precision CNC machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons provide superior heat management and consistent performance. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Rotors are available in cross-drilled or slotted designs; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for track use to expel gas and pad debris more effectively. The included SC5 Street Pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. Fitment for specific vehicles should always be confirmed using the available vehicle finder tools.
