Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. They also incorporate aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat management and consistent operation under demanding conditions. Complementing the calipers are CNC-machined carbon steel brackets that facilitate a straightforward bolt-on installation by adapting to your vehicle's factory caliper mounting points. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), which are formulated for optimal performance on the street and during occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), minimize noise, and decrease rotor wear. They are designed to operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Additionally, all Ksport Big Brake kits come equipped with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines resist expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines. The Supercomp kit offers customization options for rotors, available as either slotted or cross-drilled. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are preferred for track-focused applications. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Fitment is confirmed for 2006-2011 Honda Civic models.
