Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

This sophisticated system elevates performance with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to the Procomp kit, featuring increased piston count and full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum using a one-piece construction method, ensuring lightweight strength and freedom from corrosion. They incorporate aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures, promoting better heat transference and consistent caliper operation. An opposed-piston design ensures uniform brake pad wear and grip. Additional features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The center sections are made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for quicker wheel response. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping from heat buildup, while the aluminum center section acts as a heat sink. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The Supercomp system comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, suitable for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. An optional upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order and typically require 4-6 weeks for production and delivery.
