These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain optimal performance under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift, improving self-centering, minimizing brake drag, and maximizing performance. For added customization, rotors are available in either cross-drilled or slotted configurations; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. This kit includes SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, while reducing brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, with less noise and rotor wear.
