This sophisticated, bolt-on system offers enhanced performance over the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, coupled with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering and reduced drag. Each caliper is precision-machined from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. The aluminum pistons further contribute to heat management and reliable operation. This kit includes SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions. They offer a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50% compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. The system also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. For customization and optimal performance, you can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted is recommended for track use, while cross-drilled is better suited for daily driving. All Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, and production typically takes 4-6 weeks. The Supercomp kit includes CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to your OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger caliper size. Ksport offers a wide array of caliper color options, including standard painted finishes (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish or anodized finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium, Glassy/Hard Anodized).
