This advanced system surpasses the Procomp kit by featuring substantially larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, coupled with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities. The calipers are meticulously crafted from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, minimal weight, and superior resistance to corrosion. Complementing the calipers are CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, which facilitate a direct fit to your vehicle's OEM caliper bracket locations, despite the larger size of the Ksport calipers. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer section can adjust slightly, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more even application. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering optimal braking for street use and occasional track days, with significantly reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel by eliminating expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for track-focused vehicles. A wide array of caliper finish options are available, including standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish finishes such as Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors, and even custom color finishes.
