Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

This kit builds upon the benefits of their Procomp series by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The calipers feature aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance and reliable operation, as well as stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems. For added performance and longevity, the kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The Supercomp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled configurations; slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their ability to expel gas and pad debris more effectively, while cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. These pads have an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.
