The calipers themselves are meticulously crafted from a one-piece solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional lightness, strength, and resistance to corrosion. This advanced construction ensures uniform thickness and durability across the entire caliper body. The floating two-piece rotor design further refines braking by allowing the outer rotor section to shift slightly, promoting better self-centering and reducing brake drag. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in both street conditions and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), minimize noise, and decrease rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.
