Weighing just over 5 lbs, it features integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad longevity and provides superior caliper rigidity over stock systems. Stainless-steel brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly for reduced rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses and prevent warping from extreme heat. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing for peak performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for those with more track-focused use.
