The calipers themselves are meticulously crafted from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain optimal performance even under demanding conditions. Featuring a floating two-piece rotor design, the Supercomp system allows the outer rotor section to shift slightly for better self-centering, which reduces brake drag and improves overall performance through more even brake application. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated from NAOC Ceramic material to provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track conditions, while also reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. Optimal operating temperatures for these pads range from 194°F to 1022°F. For further customization and performance tuning, buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors.
