Big Brake Kit with Standard Full-Floating Rotors

This kit is designed as a direct bolt-on, requiring no modifications to your vehicle's existing setup. It builds upon the Procomp kit's foundation with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, complemented by an increased number of pistons per caliper and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and superior corrosion resistance. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which contribute to better heat dissipation and reliable operation under demanding conditions. The included carbon steel caliper brackets are CNC machined to precisely match OEM caliper bracket locations, facilitating a straightforward installation. Further enhancing performance and durability, the Supercomp systems feature a two-piece floating rotor design. This design allows the outer rotor section to move slightly, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and ensuring more even pad application. The floating design also helps to mitigate thermal stresses that can lead to rotor warping. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, which dissipate heat effectively and are recommended for daily drivers, or slotted rotors, better suited for vehicles with frequent track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC Ceramic material. These pads offer optimal performance for both street driving and occasional track excursions, significantly reducing brake dust (by 50% or more) and minimizing noise and rotor wear. They operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to a more responsive pedal and a firmer brake feel compared to standard rubber lines.
