The ATS Diesel 204-943-2218 is a 3-piece Big Foot T4 Pulse Flow exhaust manifold specifically engineered for 1998.5 through 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 models equipped with the 5.9L 24-valve Cummins diesel engine. Constructed from D3 High Silica Molly Cast Iron, this manifold is designed to be a direct replacement for the factory unit, offering enhanced durability and performance. Its three-piece pulse flow design, featuring a patented bell mouth and ball flange, aims to increase the velocity of exhaust gases directed to the turbocharger. This design contributes to reducing turbo lag and lowering exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) by decreasing back-pressure. It is noted that stock manifolds can be prone to cracking, and this ATS Diesel manifold is built to avoid such issues. Installation is described as straightforward, with the kit including everything needed for easy mounting. This part fits 1998-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Base and 1998-2002 Dodge Ram 3500 Base models.
