The Dart Big M2 Block 31213545 is a high-performance aftermarket engine block designed for custom Big Block Chevrolet (BBC) engine builds. It features a 9.800” deck height, 4.560” bore (with a max bore of 4.625”), and siamesed extra thick cylinder walls for improved strength and sealing. This block utilizes +.300” tall Gen VI style lifters and is equipped with 4-bolt billet main bearing caps with splayed outer bolts for enhanced durability. The true priority main oil system ensures proper lubrication to main bearings before lifters, and a stepped main oil gallery increases oil flow to the crank at high RPM. Additional features include lifter valley head stud bosses to prevent blown head gaskets, oil gallery holes machined for o-ring plugs, and a raised cam location (+.400"). It also has dual oil pan bolt patterns to accommodate standard and notched oil pans and is constructed from 220 BHN Cast iron.
