Description

Featuring a 2-inch diameter, this component is optimized for higher horsepower applications by maintaining precise exhaust gas velocity from the manifold to the turbo inlet. Constructed from 321 stainless steel tubing that is CNC mandrel bent and precision welded, this unit eliminates the factory flex joint, which is a known weak point in OEM designs. The mounting flanges are CNC machined from 1/2-inch thick 304 stainless steel and are counterbored on the back side to ensure smooth exhaust gas transitions from the cylinder head to the tubing. This up-pipe is designed for use on various turbocharged EJ-series Subaru models, including 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2018 STI, 2005-2013 Forester, and 2005-2009 Legacy GT. Proper installation requires raising the vehicle and supporting its weight securely with jack stands. Users typically experience a 250-350 RPM improvement in turbo spool-up time following the installation of this component.
