Overview

The AGP Turbo SRT4-BWS is a Big Wheel Stocker turbocharger designed as an upgrade for the Neon SRT-4 and PT Cruiser. It features larger inducer (48.3mm) and exducer (68mm) compressor wheels compared to the stock turbo's 43.4mm inducer and 56.1mm exducer. The rotating assembly is VSR high-speed balanced and all parts are brand new OEM spec. AGP recommends not exceeding 18psi of boost to maintain turbo longevity. This turbo can produce approximately 300 wheel horsepower at 18psi.

The AGP Turbo SRT4-BWS is a Big Wheel Stocker turbocharger offering a significant upgrade over the factory unit for the Dodge Neon SRT-4 and PT Cruiser. This turbo features larger compressor wheels with a 48.3mm inducer and 68mm exducer, compared to the stock turbo's 43.4mm inducer and 56.1mm exducer, allowing for greater airflow. AGP ensures the quality of these turbos, stating that all parts are brand new OEM spec with a VSR high-speed balanced rotating assembly. Installation involves unbolting the stock turbo, retaining the turbine spacer ring, and transferring the wastegate actuator and surge valve. It is crucial to reinstall the turbine spacer ring to prevent turbine wheel damage. The turbo comes with a CHRA, compressor housing, and an oil drain gasket. Users will need to reuse their factory wastegate actuator (or AGP WGA) and factory surge valve (or AGP BOP). AGP highly recommends not exceeding 18psi of boost on this TD04-based turbo, as excessive shaft speeds can shorten its lifespan. At approximately 18psi, this turbo is capable of producing a solid 300 wheel horsepower. For those seeking a quick-spooling turbo with the potential for higher horsepower (330-350 whp) with proper tuning and supporting modifications, this BWS turbo is presented as a viable option.
