Description

The Banks Power 24396 BigHead Wastegate Actuator is a high-performance replacement designed for the 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7 engine. It addresses issues caused by premature wastegate opening, which can lead to higher Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) and affect drivability.

This actuator features twice the diaphragm area and spring pressure of the stock unit. This design keeps the wastegate valve seated longer, allowing for higher peak boost to be achieved sooner, ultimately restoring lost performance and enhancing mid-range pulling power and crisp acceleration.
