The Ksport Procomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated bolt-on solution to significantly enhance your vehicle's stopping power, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions. It includes replacement calipers, 356x32mm two-piece rotors, pads, stainless-steel brake lines, and related hardware, providing a comprehensive upgrade. The Procomp Big Brake Kit features a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, eliminating weak spots found in cast or welded calipers. This design ensures even thicknesses and strength, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure over time. Caliper pistons are made from aluminum and protected with heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing corrosion. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear, while standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The two-piece rotor design contributes to lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The lightweight center sections, crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker wheel stopping and improved brake response. The independent expansion and contraction of the outer rotor section from the center section greatly reduce the risk of warping due to heat buildup. Center sections also act as heat sinks, dissipating heat away from the rotor faster. Ksport recommends Cross Drilled rotors for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while Slotted rotors are advised for vehicles with more track use due to their ability to wipe away heat, dust, and gases. This kit is made to order and non-refundable. Standard inclusions are SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The calipers come standard in various painted colors, with options to upgrade to premium high-polish finishes or over 20,000 custom color combinations for further personalization.
