Billet Aluminum Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

Each kit provides replacement calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, and all necessary hardware for a complete upgrade. The calipers are crafted from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum in a forged, one-piece construction for unparalleled strength, lightness, and corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing drag. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear on both sides of the rotor. Additionally, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The two-piece rotor design contributes to lightweight construction and fade-free performance. The lightweight center sections are made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for quicker stopping response. The independent expansion and contraction of the outer rotor section from the center minimizes warping due to heat buildup, while the aluminum center sections act as heat sinks. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they run cooler than slotted rotors. Slotted rotors, with their grooves to dissipate heat, dust, and gases, are recommended for vehicles with more track use. Standard components include forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, stainless steel brake lines, and all required mounting components and hardware.
