Billet Aluminum Brake Caliper Kit w/ SC5 Street Pads & SS Lines

The calipers are crafted from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength, unparalleled rigidity, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat dissipation and reliable operation. Featuring 8-piston calipers (standard on 13" and 14" systems), this design drastically improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. The kit utilizes two-piece rotors, contributing to a lightweight system that offers fade-free performance and effective grip. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, providing optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track days, while also reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. Completing the package are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines prevent hose expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer, more consistent pedal feel than stock rubber lines. The Procomp systems also offer customization with slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. This system is appropriate for 17" wheels and above.
