The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade designed to enhance brake power under sustained high-heat conditions for your Subaru Forester (2003-2008). The kit features a 1-piece construction from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The aluminum pistons offer improved heat resistance and uncompromised operation. The Procomp Big Brake Kit utilizes 6-piston lightweight aluminum calipers with an opposed piston design, which significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components. The kit includes two-piece rotors, available in either drilled or slotted options, to provide lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for track use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, designed for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Each kit includes (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, (2) stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The kit's rotors have a diameter of 304mm (12 inches) and a width of 28mm. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
