Each caliper is constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring both a lightweight design and exceptional durability while resisting corrosion. This kit includes two-piece rotors, available in either slotted or cross-drilled configurations, to offer optimized grip and cooling. For daily driving, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. The calipers come standard with SC5 Street Pads, made with NAOC Ceramic material, which offer a 50% reduction in brake dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that reduce line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that allow for direct bolt-up to the OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
