Each caliper is constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-free component. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which enhance heat management and maintain reliable operation even under extreme temperatures. This kit features two-piece rotors that contribute to a lighter overall weight and deliver fade-free performance with effective grip. Ksport offers a choice between cross-drilled and slotted rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. The kit includes NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track scenarios, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal response and feel by eliminating expansion under pressure. Ksport provides extensive customization options for the caliper finish, with standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium) and over 20,000 custom color choices. The caliper brackets are CNC machined from Carbon Steel, ensuring they bolt directly to your OEM caliper bracket location, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. The Procomp systems are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
