The calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance and maintain optimal performance. This kit features 6-piston lightweight aluminum calipers for the front, utilizing an opposed piston design to improve pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM. The Procomp systems include two-piece rotors, chosen for their lightweight design and fade-free performance, delivering effective grip for track use and comfortable operation during normal driving. Ksport offers customization options for rotors, allowing choices between slotted or cross-drilled designs, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers and slotted for track-focused vehicles. The kit also includes SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC Ceramic, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. Furthermore, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. All Ksport Big Brake kits come with CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets. These brackets are essential for mounting the larger Ksport calipers directly to the OEM caliper bracket location, simplifying installation. However, it is important to note that Ksport products are generally designated for off-road or competition use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
