The calipers are constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons provide superior heat resistance and reliable operation. Carbon steel caliper brackets are included to facilitate direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations. This kit includes SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust (by 50% or more) and noise compared to race pads. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors: cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are recommended for track use.
