The extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 5 lbs. and featuring differential bore configuration. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates, contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad longevity and overall caliper stiffness. This kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. For applications where extreme heat is a factor, a floating disc option is available to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc or the braking surface. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing to ensure peak performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, while slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles with more track use.
