The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, providing a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant foundation. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to other materials, ensuring consistent performance. This kit utilizes two-piece rotors, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight for improved performance and fade-free operation on the track, while still providing comfortable and user-friendly braking for daily driving. The opposed piston caliper design, with 8-piston configurations for 13" and 14" systems, markedly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over standard OEM designs. Included are NAOC Ceramic SC5 street pads, optimized for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customization is a key feature, with caliper options including standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium finishes such as Silver, Gold, Titanium, and Glassy/Hard Anodized colors, with over 20,000 custom color finishes available. Buyers can also choose between Slotted or Cross Drilled rotors; Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while Slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles.
