Inside, aluminum pistons are utilized to provide superior heat management and ensure uncompromised operation. The kit includes two-piece rotors, offering a lightweight design that contributes to fade-free performance and effective grip. For the rear, the Procomp systems typically utilize 2 or 4-piston lightweight aluminum calipers, designed to improve pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components. This big brake kit comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport also offers customization options for caliper colors and rotor types (Cross Drilled or Slotted). Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused applications. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. Fitment is specified for the 2014-2016 Mazda 3.
