All calipers are constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade billet aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. These calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials. This kit features a 6-piston caliper design with a two-piece rotor assembly, measuring 380mm in diameter and 32mm in width. The rotors are available in either a slotted or cross-drilled design, with slotted recommended for track use and cross-drilled for daily driving due to cooler operating temperatures. The floating rotor option helps mitigate thermal stresses that can cause warping. Included are SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance on the street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing expansion under pressure. Standard kit components include two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware and components. Note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, and production and delivery typically take 4-6 weeks.
