Billet Aluminum Caliper with Aluminum Pistons

The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. They feature differential bore configuration, CNC machining, and weigh just over 5 lbs each, with integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The opposed piston design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM. This kit utilizes a two-piece disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. Options for floating discs are available to mitigate thermal stresses that can warp the disc or cup the braking surface under extreme heat. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily drivers, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for vehicles with more track use. Standard kit components include: two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, all required mounting components and hardware (brackets, bolts, etc.), and an owner's manual. This kit is specifically designed for the Honda CR-V 2017-2018 models. Production and delivery typically take 4-6 weeks.
