The integrated aluminum pistons further contribute to heat management, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions. This kit features 8-piston calipers paired with 330mm two-piece drilled rotors, designed to offer superior stopping power and heat dissipation compared to stock components. Ksport includes its SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in both street and occasional track use, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. All Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. The Procomp systems feature two-piece rotors, available with either cross-drilled or slotted options. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that will see more track time.
