Overview

The Metco Motorsports MCA0016 is a high-performance upper and lower control arm kit designed for vehicles built on the Panther platform from 1998 and up, including the 2003-2004 Mercury Marauder and Crown Victoria. These control arms are CNC-machined from 6061-T6511 billet aluminum for strength and precision. They feature clear-anodized finish for surface protection and are equipped with Energy Suspension-brand polyurethane bushings, each with a grease fitting for noise-free service.

The Metco control arm kit serves as a performance-oriented replacement for the rear suspension of the 1998-2011 Panther platform vehicles, which includes the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Marauder, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Lincoln Town Car. By replacing the flexible factory arms with these rigid, CNC-machined 6061-T6511 billet aluminum units, drivers can expect reduced suspension deflection and improved handling characteristics. Installation requires that all control arm fasteners be torqued to specification while the vehicle's full weight is on the suspension. This step is critical to ensure proper bushing alignment and to prevent binding or unwanted suspension preload that could affect performance.
