Description

The 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Dogbone Mount Insert is a performance upgrade for early (up to 2008.5) MkV Volkswagen Golf/Jetta/GTI/GLI/R32 and 8J/8P Audi TT/A3 models. The factory mount is a known weak point, and its design allows for movement that isolates the driver from the road. Constructed from T6-6061 billet aluminum and CNC-machined in-house, this insert features a clear anodized finish for durability. The result is an improved shifting feel with crisper shifts and a more direct, connected driving experience. The "NVH Levels" are rated as LOW - MED. While idling, no NVH is created. Some light NVH may be expected on initial take-off in drive or reverse. This insert is intended to limit transmission movement without sacrificing ride quality or introducing perceivable additional noise, vibration, or harshness into the cabin, though NVH is subjective and may vary. It has been thoroughly tested by 034Motorsport and independent enthusiasts. Installation is straightforward, takes minutes, and is completely reversible. Fitment includes: 2006-2008 Audi A3 (8P), 2006-2008 Audi TT (8J), 2006-2008 Volkswagen Eos/GLI/GTI/Jetta/R32/Rabbit (MkV), and 2006-2008 Volkswagen Passat (B6).
