Billet Aluminum DSG Breather Catch Can

The 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum DSG Breather Catch Can is engineered to replace the factory plastic vent on DQ250 and DQ381 equipped MQB Volkswagens and Audis. This upgrade prevents transmission fluid from being expelled and causing messy oil stains in the engine bay. Any fluid collected within the catch can is returned to the transmission. The catch can features a body CNC milled from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a durable, stealthy black anodized finish. Internally, a stainless steel baffle plate effectively prevents oil escape, while the external mounting brackets are powder coated for corrosion resistance and enhanced aesthetics. The installation replaces the OEM plastic vent hose with a new 8mm I.D. silicone vent hose, retaining the original transmission connector. Utilizing stock mounting points, this catch can offers a straightforward installation with no drilling or cutting required. The kit includes the billet aluminum breather body, mounting bracket, silicone vent hose, and necessary hardware including a banjo bolt and fitting. Installation effort is rated as mild. However, this catch can will not fit MK8 Volkswagen or 8Y Audi models.
