Overview

The McLeod Racing MCL-563408 is a lightweight, billet aluminum flywheel designed for specific Ford engines. It is machined from Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum and weighs only 15lbs.

This flywheel is compatible with all 1996-2010 4.6L engines featuring an 8-bolt crankshaft and also fits 2011+ 5.0L Coyote engines. It features a dual pressure plate bolt pattern to accommodate both 10.5" and 11" clutch setups. The starter ring is made of hardened 1045 steel, and the friction plate is replaceable. The McLeod MCL-563408 is SFI 1.1 approved.

The McLeod Racing MCL-563408 is a lightweight, performance-oriented flywheel engineered for specific Ford modular and Coyote engines. Machined from a solid piece of Billet 6061-T6 aluminum, this flywheel offers a significant weight reduction, tipping the scales at only 15 lbs. This reduction in rotational mass can contribute to quicker engine response and a more agile feel. Designed for durability and broad compatibility, the MCL-563408 features a hardened 1045 steel starter ring for reliable engagement. It is built to work with both 10.5" and 11" clutch setups, thanks to its dual pressure plate bolt and dowel pattern. This flywheel is explicitly designed to fit all 1996 through 2010 4.6L engines equipped with an 8-bolt crankshaft. It is also compatible with 2011 and newer 5.0L Coyote engines. The McLeod MCL-563408 meets stringent safety standards, holding an SFI 1.1 approval rating.
