The Forge Motorsport Turbo Inlet adaptor, designed for specific Hyundai models, is constructed from durable 6082 aerospace-grade aluminum with a protective black anodized finish. This component significantly increases airflow to the turbocharger, offering over 150% more capacity than the OEM part. It functions similarly to a conventional velocity stack, routing air more directly into the turbocharger and allowing for increased air compression. This redesign addresses a restrictive point in the stock intake system, especially beneficial for tuned vehicles. Testing conducted on a Maha independent dyno, a system used by BMW M Sport and Mercedes-Benz, demonstrated a 10BHP gain from the turbo adaptor alone when mated to a 4-inch intake and high-performance filter. The power increase is noticeable from above 3000 RPM, providing a consistent pull to the rev limiter. Users may also experience a subtle change in engine acoustics. This turbo inlet adaptor is compatible with other manufacturers' intakes that feature a 4-inch (102mm) inlet pipe. However, it will **not fit** the OEM intake system or stock airbox. Installation is straightforward, typically taking around 45 minutes, and includes comprehensive instructions. Forge Motorsport backs this product with a lifetime warranty.
