The Gradient Engineering intake manifold is engineered to be a high-performing upgrade for the Ford Focus Ecoboost 2.0 and 2.3 engines, as found in the MK3 Focus RS and MK3 Focus ST (ST250) models. This 'plug & play' unit is designed as a direct replacement for the original manifold, requiring no modifications to existing pipework or fittings. It seamlessly integrates with the standard throttle body, gaskets, and sensors. Constructed from robust, billet machined aluminum, this intake manifold is built to withstand the demands of both mild and extreme engine builds. It is rated to support over 700 bhp and 5 bar of boost. For advanced performance tuning, the manifold features integrated 4-port injection points for methanol or nitrous oxide, strategically placed in each equal-length runner for optimal distribution. An optional 4-port fuel injection plenum cover is available, providing an additional fuel source precisely when needed for maximum performance, especially when standard injectors reach their limit. The manifold is available in various colors, including Uncoated Bare, Silver, Black, Blue, Nitros Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, and Red, allowing for a personalized engine bay aesthetic. The product is stated to provide an 8% increase in power and torque throughout the rev range, based on testing with a lightly tuned Focus ST.
