The JLT Performance 3.0 Passenger Side Oil Separator is engineered to combat the accumulation of oil vapors in your intake track, which can occur during the process of venting crankcase pressure. This issue is exacerbated in forced induction engines (supercharged and turbocharged) due to increased crankcase pressures. By capturing these oil vapors before they reach your intake manifold, this separator helps maintain fuel octane and cleaner engine internals. It features a knurled tank base that allows for easy removal and draining of collected oil, while an O-ring seal ensures a leak-free operation. The multi-stage filtering system includes a fine mesh stainless steel screen to trap larger oil vapors and an aluminum honeycomb filter that coalesces finer vapors into larger droplets that fall into the tank. The tank has a 3 oz capacity, which should be sufficient for normal operation; draining it every 2000-3000 miles is recommended. This JLT oil separator is designed as a direct-fit, plug-and-play kit for specific Ford F-150 models, requiring no cutting or tuning for installation. It is specifically designed for the passenger side of the 2011-2026 Ford F-150 2.7L, 3.5L, and 5.0L engines. Some installations may require minor modifications, such as drilling a hole for mounting.
