Billet Aluminum Oil Catch Can

The Elite Engineering Standard Catch Can is engineered for the 2012-2015 Camaro ZL1 to manage and extract fumes from the engine's crankcase. This process helps to reduce crankcase pressure, preventing potential oil leaks and seal damage. The system works by collecting oil mist and condensed fuel vapors, thereby ensuring that only cleaner gases are recirculated into the intake manifold. Constructed from premium materials, the catch can features a 2.6-inch diameter by 6.0-inch long body machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, with an anodized finish for durability and aesthetics. This internal component can be accessed for inspection, cleaning, or replacement. The fittings for the inlet and outlet hoses are made of brass, threaded into the body, and sealed with Teflon tape. The included hoses are rated SAE 30R7 for compatibility with fuel and oil vapors. The reservoir at the bottom of the unit screws onto the top and is sealed with an O-ring, allowing for easy inspection and cleaning without needing to disturb the mounting system or hoses. All mounting hardware and screws are stainless steel for longevity. The custom-machined mounting bracket is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, designed for a specific vehicle fitment.
