Overview

The J&L oil separator is a 3 oz capacity unit milled from solid billet aluminum. It features a knurled tank base for easy removal and an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. A fine mesh stainless steel filter traps oil vapors before they enter the intake manifold.

The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is engineered to manage crankcase pressure and prevent oil vapors from entering your intake track, which can dilute fuel and lower octane levels. This issue is exacerbated in forced induction engines due to increased crankcase pressures. The separator is constructed from solid billet aluminum for durability, featuring a knurled base for simple draining and an O-ring seal for leak prevention. This product is designed for the passenger side of the engine and has a 3 oz fluid capacity, with typical service intervals between 1000 and 3500 miles. This oil separator is designed for 2009-2018 RAM 1500 5.7L and 2019-2021 RAM 1500 Classic 5.7L applications. It is intended to retain the stock hose for ease of installation and potential return to stock configuration, and may come complete with all necessary hoses, custom brackets, and hardware for an OEM appearance. Important Note: This product is NOT CARB (California Air Resource Board) Exempt. It is not legal for sale or use in California or any other state that adopts California emission standards and requires a CA Executive Order (EO) number. Orders shipping to California will be cancelled.
