This kit is engineered with larger-diameter disc rotors and an opposed-piston caliper design to significantly enhance pad grip and minimize uneven wear. The calipers themselves are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant foundation. This 1-piece construction contributes to the kit's overall durability and performance. Key features of this SuperComp kit include 8-piston calipers paired with 356mm (14-inch) drilled, 2-piece vented rotors. The rotors utilize an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. The 2-piece design also allows for less restricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section, greatly reducing the chance of rotor warpage. All caliper seals are heavy-duty for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, and the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures for faster pedal response. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow these larger-than-OEM size calipers to bolt directly onto existing mounting points.
