The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. The opposed-piston design enhances pad grip and promotes more even pad wear. Aluminum caliper pistons contribute to better heat resistance and reduced weight. The kit includes reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets, allowing these oversized calipers to bolt directly onto the existing mounting points without modifications. All rotors in this kit are a 2-piece design with an aluminum center, which reduces rotational mass, improves braking response, and shortens stopping distances. This design also minimizes the risk of rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction.
