All calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight, exceptionally strong, and corrosion-free component. This opposed-piston caliper design significantly improves pad grip and reduces uneven pad wear, contributing to longevity and consistent performance. Featuring aluminum caliper pistons, this kit offers superior heat resistance and smoother operation compared to traditional materials. The reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets are designed to allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to bolt directly onto the existing mounting points of your 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse without requiring modifications. The 330mm (13-inch) diameter, 2-piece vented rotors with slotted surfaces and a fixed hat construction are designed for performance and racing applications. The 2-piece design with an aluminum center reduces rotational mass for quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances, while also minimizing rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction. All caliper seals are heavy-duty, built for sustained high-temperature use during demanding track conditions. Additionally, the kit includes stainless steel brake lines that prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, leading to faster and more consistent pedal response. The minimum wheel diameter required for this kit is 17 inches (432mm).
