Billet Aluminum Opposed-Piston Caliper

This front brake system features a lightweight, one-piece caliper CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 5 lbs. The caliper design incorporates differential bore configurations, aluminum pistons for corrosion resistance and heat tolerance, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed-piston caliper design significantly enhances pad grip and reduces uneven wear compared to OEM designs. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly with an aluminum center to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For street use, SC5 Street pads with a low-dust ceramic compound are recommended, while RC1 Race Pads are designed for extreme track conditions. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, ensuring a faster pedal response. It is compatible with the Toyota Celica ST185 1990-1993 Turbo All-Trac model only. The rotor diameter is 286mm, and the rotor style is slotted.
