The 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Rear Differential Carrier Mount Insert Kit is engineered to significantly reduce unwanted rear differential movement in select Audi models. The factory rear differential carrier bushings contain voids that allow for excessive twisting under load, leading to drivetrain slop and clunks during acceleration, deceleration, and shifting. This kit addresses that issue by filling these voids with precision-machined billet aluminum inserts. The primary benefit is the drastic reduction in rear differential movement, which translates to crisper shifts and more immediate throttle response. Despite enhancing performance, the design aims to maintain comfort, with the manufacturer specifying "Low" NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels, meaning minimal additional harshness is transferred into the cabin. It is also a reversible modification, allowing for easy removal if needed. The kit includes a pair of 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Rear Differential Carrier Mount Inserts. This insert kit is compatible with a wide range of Audi models, including the B8 chassis A4, S4, RS4, A5, S5, RS5, and Q5/SQ5, as well as the C7 chassis A6, S6, RS6, A7, S7, RS7, and D4 chassis A8/S8. It is crucial to note that many of these applications are specified for Quattro models only. The kit is designed to install into factory mounts using part number 8K0 599 257N / 8K0599257N.
