The iABED Industries Billet Aluminum Rear Main Seal Upgrade offers a permanent solution to oil leaks commonly found in EA888.1, EA888.2, EA888.3, and EA888.4 1.8TSI and 2.0TSI engines. This engineered component allows for the use of a spring-loaded seal, which is inherently more robust and resistant to the pressures experienced by the crankshaft seal. This upgrade specifically addresses the limitations of the OEM seal by accepting a larger and stronger seal. This design enhancement aims to prevent future oil leaks and maintain engine integrity. The billet aluminum construction ensures durability and longevity. Application includes all EA888 engines ranging in North America from the MK5 GTI to MK7 GTI, covering model years 2009-2025 for EA888 2.0TSI and 1.8TSI engines.
